When I'm no Longer Here Featured · 3:14am Feb 22nd, 2012
Hello everyone.
I just wanted to thank those that read When I'm no Longer Here, and thank them for helping it become a featured story. I am so glad so many people were able to read it. That story really has helped me cope with losing that person. Loved ones are very special and they can't be replaced. I was looking around on the internet today and I found a poem that I felt related to my situation. It's called Nothing Gold Can Stay by Robert Frost.
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
A good friend showed me this poem and I hate to admit that it got to me. I am not normally super emotional but that poem got me at the right time.
I am very happy that so many of you liked the story, and I hope it touches your heart. Do me a favor. If you are married, have a domestic partner, or have a significant other, tell them that you love them. Let those that are special to you know that you care about them. Down the line, you won't regret it. I appologize for being all gushy in this post.
Thank you all so much again. I will get to all of your comments on my lastest story and others soon.

It deserved it man. ^_^

I didn't even read that poem. Then, somehow, I wound up back here and actually read the whole blog. That is my second favorite poem of all time. I actually read it the other day, irony.
