I made a difficult decision.

After much deliberation and reflection, I have decided to disable ratings for my stories.

I did not take this step lightly. I will forever be grateful to those who showed their support by upvoting my stories. I also hold no grudge against those who downvoted my stories. The only issue is that of all the downvotes I received, exactly one person had the courage to actually tell me why they didn't like what I wrote about. Even they eventually change their mind and removed the down vote.

All the readers who downvoted might have had perfectly valid reasons to do so, but if it's about my writing or stories or characters, I can't know to improve. And if it's because they're TCB stories, why are you reading stories in that genre if you know you don't like it?

So from now on, if you want to let me know that you really hate my story, you're just going to have to tell me in the comments or on PMs. I guess it's the same thing if you like my stories, although if someone adds my tails to their library, that's a pretty good indication. In any event, no one is under any obligation to tell me one way or the other whether they like my stories. I just got tired of people hiding behind the anonymity of the downvote when most of the time they hadn't even bothered reading it.

I hope you can understand my feelings.
