Nice! I did a ranking video on the topic (First Part at least).

I also had a weird history with this franchise. As someone who enjoyed quite a bit of EqG (with the first film being the thing that got me into MLP as my exposure to it around April 2016). but even I started to get frustrated with the franchise. I'm still annoyed that G5 chose to be a sequel to G5 and yet for whatever reason, this franchise gets left in the dust and that was all due to Hasbro's poor planning with the franchise and how it kept get retooled one after the next (because the 2017 Movie took 4 years in development, as well as the over cluttered schedule for the last 2 seasons of the show). This franchise should've been treated a lot better than how Hasbro and DHX handled it. With Holidays Unwrapped feeling a last-minute way to wrap the franchise before they close the doors on G4 (excluding the comics, hello Pinkie Pie, Pony Life and Friendship is Forever). It was the last (official) piece of G4 and it was quite sad. I may have a soft spot for Equestria Girls, but that is a problem I can't ignore.
