Writing in some sense is a very therapeutic experience for me; everything I write always has a little piece of me in it, no matter how detached it is from reality. I love the world-building and characters in MLP, and being able to give my own spin on it is always a unique experience for me. A Pastry Chef's War was in some sense an experiment for me. Writing has always been something deeply personal to me and the people I care about, so that was one of the few times I had put one of my creations out into the open field. Being completely honest, it was a fluff fic to get to grips with the platform, but I did put love and time into it to make it the best it could be for what it was.
I was really happy with the reception the story got, and it's still something that I think about now. Recently it got an audio reading which was very surreal, especially considering it's close to two years on since I wrote it. In a weird way that was kinda a reminder of how rewarding writing it was: don't get me wrong there's a million things I'd change now, but having that finished product and having interaction with it is something still very new to me. It was absolutely in my intention to continue writing sooner, but well to put it lightly, life got in the way. I've been writing since, but only ever casually for my own enjoyment and for fun with friends, I want restart that momentum I had back then and see where I end up.
I make no absolute promises in lots of content very soon, but I'm gonna give it my best shot. And to the three people that skim this, you real ones.
