As many of you will have noticed, I've been rather radio silent between November and now. It went from at least one chapter every fortnight to one chapter after about three months of nothing. The reason mostly was due to writer's block and an abysmal chapter in late November writing me into a corner as well as the entire intent of the story changing. It was supposed to be a much different story which was basically a worse version of "The Benevolent Reign of Queen Rarity" but feedback helped me avoid that minefield. So what happens now? The next update will be delayed as I plan to release two chapters simaltaniously as a kind of apology but I at least know where I'm going. Mainly because of new ideas, the story will be longer than I intended (this was at one point supposed to be only five chapters) but I intend to finish it. For better or for worse, the story will be completed. When is another matter entirely depending on how far this idea goes (there will be some downtime coming up but that's mostly because I want to have some character bits beyond just the non-stop tension so far) but it will be someday over. Next chapter especially is gonna be a long one seeing as it’s going to delve imto the Princesses’ past. TTFN.
