Part 1 of chapter 8 is fully complete! It has been edited, edited, edited, and edited again. This is how long it is:
Why isn't it posted yet? Because it's part one of a two part chapter, and part two is still being worked on. As I've mentioned in previous blog posts, I want these two posted close-ish together. I don't want to post this up, and then have you wait a month for the next part to come out. It's not like part 1 ends on a cliffhanger so to speak, but still. I know what it's like to be impatient as I am impatience incarnate, so I wish to give both parts to you all in a timely manner.
Speaking of part 2, it's coming along quite well! I'm very excited to release both of these parts for reasons I can't say without spoiling things. Let's just say that I'm very tired of being mean to my girl, and she's finally going to catch a break. A very temporary break 
Act II is also coming along nicely. I've known how this story is going to end from the beginning, but finding a way to make that ending satisfying has proven a bit challenging. That said, I had a flash of inspiration recently, and I have a feeling I will stick the landing once the time comes.
