I've always said one thing about who I am as a person. "Eternally in pursuit of the goodness in the heart." It's what called me to the show. It's why I'm here now. And it's what I love to write about.

The wheel begins to move... · 3:38pm Feb 17th, 2023

It's no surprise I haven't done much lately. But hopefully I can change that soon. I've already got a neat little project going, now I just need to sit down and write my own good stufftm.

I guess since I have nothing else to say, I can talk about a storytelling device I love just to ramble about something so this blog doesn't end up feeling hollow.

A big thing I like in stories is when everyone gathers together to give someone their support at a critical moment. I've written that in my own stories a lot as I'm sure it's easy to notice. But I was raised with that very notion! I know it's super cheesy, but I love stuff like that. Honestly, I blame my first and favorite games I ever played. Both Paper Marios. I mean, look at this and tell me you walk away from that not being the highlight of *gestures to everything*.

While universal vocal support can be awesome, the one from the people who matter most to you is triply so. Thus, it's vital to build up this point of the story. To give it weight by using the relationships that were carefully constructed within it. I'm not saying every story needs to include a scene like this, but I am saying my all time favorite stories are those with this at its peak.

How do you give power to the powerless? You make them the reason why powerful people can keep fighting on.

But you know what? In an effort to instill meaning to my ramblings, I'm also going to start doling out my sources of inspiration and writing tools to help one focus. For today, that comes in the form of this soundtrack:

Which is just beautiful ambiance for clearing your mind enough to keep the proverbial pen moving.

And these scenery photos which I often look at to lose myself in thought in case I want to world-build, prototype concept designs for characters or landscapes, or maybe just appreciate it for the wonderful art that it is in order to get a grasp for the atmosphere and emotion encapsulated within those images.
