XII – Where We're At · 7:03pm Jan 8th, 2023
Short update today! Progress on the next chapter is going pretty well right now. Here's what I've got so far.
As far as the flow of the chapter goes, it's pretty much entirely done. However, it still has quite a bit of revision to go through before it's ready to be sent off for editing and then eventual submission. I'd like to give a date range for when this will be posted, but work on this will be a bit sporadic for the next week and a half. Right now, one of my girlfriends from out of state is visiting! So I'll be more focused on spending time with her rather than writing while she's here. I'll do work when I get the chance though!
I've talked a few times about act structure, and I've used a lot of imprecise language with regards to how much is left of the first act. Right now, I can assuredly say that not this chapter, but the one after it will mark the end of the first act. The chapter that comes after this one may be a little shorter than average as it's the winding down part of this act, but it's gonna be cute, that much I can promise.
