I Have Expanded The Misty Saga To Include More Stories!! · 9:11pm Dec 27th, 2022
Hello, everypony!
Happy belated Hearth’s Warming, Winter Wishday, Christmas, or whatever holiday you celebrate. I apologize for not posting on here for a while, but I’ve been hard at work on my G5 defense video, as well as the next batch of stories. I had to take some time off writing to celebrate Christmas of course, but right after that, I got back to writing. And wouldn’t you know it, during my mad writing spree of pony, I happened to get an idea. An awful idea. I got a wonderful, awful idea!!
So I’m hard at work on “Redeemed,” the penultimate installment in the Misty Saga and sequel to “Forgiven,” but something always caught my eye. Despite the fact that I said that both Izzy’s multiverse trilogy and Misty’s trilogy were linked to each other canon-wise, I haven’t really done much to plant them firmly continuity wise aside from some passing mentions from the characters in “Forgiven.” Well, that’s about to change as I’ve just expanded the Misty Saga to include more story content and that includes a spin-off story from “Izzy Moonbow Across The Multiverse of Randomness” focused on Princess Skystar! You may not at first understand why this is relevant to the overall saga at large, but hear me out. I won’t spoil much as to what my plans are, but a major part of “Redeemed” hinges on a certain plot thread that I plan to introduce in Skystar’s story. It will be two chapters with the first one being focused on the mane story (haha horse pun, I meant main) and a bonus second chapter introducing a certain deus ex machina. I understand if you all are still confused, so before Skystar’s story gets released, I got something even better for you!
An extended cut of “Forgiven!”
Turns out there’s this certain technical loophole in FIMFiction’s rules where it is stated that you actually can release the same story twice if the two versions differ on a rating tag and I’ve always felt since “Forgiven” that there were certain parts that were not elaborated upon and you all certainly had a lot of questions about Sunny’s portion of the story. Well fear no more, loyal readers! A mature extended version of “Forgiven” will be dropping soon and there will be hints dropped throughout about future plans in the saga. As to what this means about “Redeemed,” well, that means it’ll be releasing a bit later. I understand you all are really looking forward to it, but with this new expansion of the saga, I promise you’ll love it even more when it finally does get released due to all the buildup. Since there appears to be a lot of mature G5 stories floating around, I thought I’d need to level the playing field here in order to keep the saga relevant.
I even have ideas for a potential Sunny Saga planned right after the Misty Saga, but that’ll only happen if “Redeemed” sticks the landing and performs well. Sunny Starscout is my favorite character in G5, so this might be an interesting experiment, having a saga focused on her. But…I also want to move on and finally launch my passion project: The Lunar Literary Universe (LLU) with “Guardians of Harmony” after the Misty Saga, so it really just depends. If there is more G5 content to be milked, then milk this cow dry I shall. But if you all instead want to see the next chapter in my life after the Misty Saga, then by all means, I’m excited to start this universe with you all. Being a massive Zack Snyder fan, this universe really means a lot to me and will sort of be a way for the Snyderverse to live on (Screw you, James Gunn and WBD, Henry Cavill’s the GOAT) in spirit. So, we shall see. I already know what the Sunny Saga will focus on, so again, you readers make the call. I would’ve never been able to come this far since my humble beginnings on this site without all of you constantly believing in my crazy ideas, your constant encouragement and feedback, and most importantly, reading and commenting on my stories. This has been a dream come true for me as a Brony and I will always be grateful to all you readers, new and old.
With that being said, I will see all of you very soon with the “Forgiven” extended cut and Skystar’s story. Stay tuned!!
