this weekend, it's time to say goodbye to my beloved Nordschleife (a 20.83 kilometers long race track where the tiniest mistake will send you guranteed into the barrier unless you're lucky)
I absolutely love the Nürburgring in general and to be honest I might cry whilst watching NLS2 (race 2 of the Nürburgring endurance series. It got delayed due to bad weather in april) because it's the last time I will see GT3 cars going at 260-280 km/h over the Döttinger Höhe for this year. (a long straight where you can chill for a short amount of time. I use the Döttinger Höhe to prepare myself for the next lap when I destroy my victims on GT Sport)
my fastest lap on the 24h version of the Nürburgring was a 8:05.5 (track length: +25 kilometers) on GT Sport during the daily race C qualifying.
the reason why I'm so fast on the Nordschleife is because those feels that are stored inside of me are used to create the perfect lap. Just a few days ago, I cracked my Nordschleife only PB (6:30.433 to 6:30.3 with active BoP, medium tyres and default setup)
I can't wait for the next Nürburgring season (includes 24h of Nürburgring)
Goodbye my beloved Nordschleife... I'm going to miss you
