Apple Lauda and Starlight Glimmer have been good friends for a long time now, but due to the racing career of Apple Lauda, he doesn't have much time to visit his friend. Vice Versa, Starlight Glimmer has her duties as the principal of the School of Friendship. This caused to both meeting each other less to none during a year.

But in the school holidays, Apple Lauda had won the final race of the season and becoming Equestria's racing champion once again.

During off season, Apple Lauda feels a bit... off like something is missing...

since Apple Lauda was a colt, he did vacation in the Allgäu quite a lot, making it his second home. Mostly, he did vacation in the region around Isny and Maierhöfen. What he mostly likes there is not just the mountains. He also did visit lake constance quite a lot, mostly Überlingen, but mostly he goes there because he has his beloved mountains there. After nearly a decade, Apple Lauda returns to the place he is allowed to call his second home.

Apple Lauda has finally been able to found a own F1 team. He calls it "Rothmans F1 Team" as a tribute to the 1994 Williams F1 car. However there are still things to sort out. He also needs a teammate. But who will it be? and who will become campeão mundial?*
