Wowsers!!! Hope more comes ASAP!! XD
Damn it! Just let them all marry him, social norms be damned! One of them is Celestia, a princess, he's friends with the other, two, and half the elements have fallen in love with him goddamnit! Polyamory FOREVER!!!!
Damn, great chapter and i still hoping that he'll get Celestia, Luna, Nightmare Moon and the rest of the Mane Six but i know that would be to much for you to write and plan all that down. but anyway still this is one of my top faves and i'm lovin it every bit of the way.
(here have a Han Solo thumbs up)

A nice day out round town for what is turning out to be a nice couple.
I wonder when Pinkie Pie pronked along, she was probably hiding under Luna in the canal.
Will Blueblood find out, complain about the cost of a single room on a hovel and in teh same breath demand a ten room extension to his mansion next?
Another fine chapter. Well worth the wait. :)

I agree with these posts, but since I'm not the author, I can't force it to happen.
James is one flirty mother fucker.
Also, people will probably hate me for this, but this chapter was incredibly boring. 40k words of JamesxCelestia is just not my stuff so I skipped most of it
All I can think of is how would you even price that ticket? IRL even for a short journey like Preston-Manchester the base (weekly) price of a season this year is £68.60 STD / £102.90 1ST giving annual fares of £2,744 STD / £4,116 1ST.
6430061 I certainly don't blame you. I think the long wait was partly due to even me finding some parts boring to write.
6430061 i get what you saying
James and celestia are so much alike it's kinda boring.
I feel as if the story was in a stagnant summer over the past year haha :) I absolutely approve of this development with James and Celestia too. Great chapter as always, Humanity! I've loved this story since it began and have yet to stop reading :P
this is a vary good chapter, I found it surprising in that James and Celestia allowed there selves to make out I am guessing you may at some point form a herd with James , Flutter Shy , RD , Twilight and Rarity but I do not see how Celestia would fit in.
but that if it happens the herding that is will be at a much later date.
agene this is a vary good chapter exultant work Humanity.
Harts Fire
Excellent as always and though this may not be the place to ask, I feel compelled to ask if this story is nearing the point where Dreams of the Heart will be continued.
6435279 I'm afraid not. The earliest that will begin is in the later segments of Volume 4. Probably after the main storyline of the arc.
6435537 ... Damn I'm really looking forward to that... Oh well the main story is really good though I personally feel as though James belongs with Nightmare Moon or just recently with this development Celestia is also a good match. (Though I prefer Nightmare Moon)
6428295 I couldn't agree more with you, friend. I think this story needs an Harem Ending.
Also, all tha feelz!
While I dont much like James' character (im a cold bastard myself), I cant help but admit that this chapter was rather adorable
OK, I'm still reading this. But I got to thinking... And I'm starting to think of Canterlot as the thorny rose.
Let me explain. The lovely red rose is Her Majesty, Celestia and her family that she oh so dearly holds close...
The long, green, stem is the population of Canterlot. Supporters, the "commoners"of the population, of Celestia, and some of the few elites, like Fancy Pants, are greatly supporting the lovely rose, Her Highness proudly...
And now, the thorns... It's where all the louts stick out. Like sore thumbs, they intend to drive the "commoners" out of Canterlot, drive out those who are drawn to it's beauty and wise monarchs.
Canterlot is in a way, the thorny rose. It's a beautiful city with louts intending to keep the "peasants" in their place.
I just thought about making a hand-written version of this story.
Then realized that that would be ~3750 pages.
Dunno if I should do it, sounds like a lot of work. x.x
6447082 Don't do it. Your wrist would give out long before the halfway point.
6447547 So would my funds. I'd need a hella lot of ink cartridges. *uses ink fountain pen*.
6430283 Considering that American Airlines once priced lifetime passes at a quarter of a million dollars, the price would likely be high.
6432012 If I may ask, what parts of this chapter really stood out to you?
Sorry if asking. Just that detailed feedback has been sparse this time.
6450722 I really enjoyed the vibe I was receiving from James and Celestia's time spent together at the pizzeria. Many other fanfics display her as this regal force that rules over Equestria, but all I could gather from this chapter is that Celestia is a mare that loves the company of a great friend and practically radiates that caring attribute of hers. The scene wherein James first spoke to Celestia as the rain began and they decided to lay together just made me realize how much of an image James represents. James, being an experimental to bringing humanity back to Equestria(?), has proven to be great. You could not understand how close I relate to this story and how emotionally great I view it as. I hope my rant here helped you in some way with feedback either way, Humanity
Remarkably well done, Humanity. You've really put another happy chapter to replace the sorrow that's been raining. Nothing really stood out. It was done well, and I loved how Princess Celestia was portrayed. Especially when showing her time of weakness to show how much of a mare she is... Man I feel bad for her. Wish there was somepony to love her... But that might not be wise... I bet Celestia had enough sorrow as is losing her friends. It would probably be bad as well if she fell in love... It might result in her going down the same path Discord went.
6450716 Bloody hell!!!!
Am currently looking for an editor of my latest story:https://www.fimfiction.net/story/290435/space-battleship-yamato-voyage-of-a-new-beginning If anyone is interested PM me ASAP please!!!!!
6455011 Why did you post that here? I don't appreciate others using my comments section as a place to advertise themselves. I'm not Pewdiepie.
6455289 A mis-error in posting....
Sorry!
That "ring" chant near the end.. I could have sworn that was to the tune of Jesus Built my Hotrod..
Really lovely chapter, Humanity!!! Love your work!! =]
Can't help but wonder if this event will fuel Nightmare Moon's jealousy issues...
6472460
6472460 I think if that was the case there would have been a bit more foreshadowing by now. As it stands, it looks more like friendly banter than any real issues.
Also, I'm noting that polyamory in this story seems to be a subject of... well... a lack of care. No one seems to care one way or another. They don't decry it, nor do they suggest it. I'm assuming at some point the entire Mane Six and the three Princesses will be involved with James, in some form or another. Though Fluttershy may to the only one to actually marry him. Plus, I don't think the author would focus so much on James' seemingly unlimited potential for love if that subject wasn't going to come up.
...Wow... went on on a bit of a tangent there. Sorry about that.
6430061 I kinda agree. Not a bad chapter, certainly very fluffy and lovely, but it just seems... timed badly? No, that's not it. I honestly don't know how to describe it. It just seems out of place.
Just want to know, have you watched the last MLP episode "Crusaders of the Lost Mark"?
and if yes, what do you think?
6512431 Haven't seen it, but sounds like the one true must see episode of the season. Just might watch it.
When I read the part or chapters that James was going insane I was itching to say, " Discord do you know what happens when you break a normal person? I guess you do. But.... Do you know what happens when you break a insane person by destroying all they care about? Well that is how you died."
6513131
Maybe not a true must see episode, but many waited for this.
Just wanted to know what you think about it.
What do you think about the concept behind their new cutie marks?
6524326 I don't have much of an opinion, really. Although I will be incorporating them into the story at some point.
6529615 with serious vegetarian you mean vegan?
I feel healthier from reading your comment.
6531155
Yes I meant vegan x.x I think this flu is effecting me worse than I thought...why couldn't I think of the word vegan?
Maybe my flu is destroying my mind...or from the lack of food...who knows...
6531319 Oh well, hope you'll get better soon.
6531406
Me too....a week, and now it's hitting an "off and on" phase...feel fine, do something, then it's barreled over a small wastebasket with paper towels/toilet paper ready to lose the acids in my stomach since there is NOTHING ELSE...unless I still have some of the beefaroni from almost 24 hours ago.... and I hate beefaroni...
6539290 God damn it, this again?!
I don't normally resort to deleting these kinds of comments, but this debate has already been dragged on for too long and I have already addressed this argument to the point of redundancy, not to mention this section of the story has concluded. Read through the comments of the following chapters next time to see if your thoughts on the current arc you are reading have already been voiced and addressed.
Fun fact: There is a big difference between Moral Event Horizons and Heroic Blue Screen of Death.
Now, if I see anymore of these kinds of comments, I will delete them without a second thought. The debate has ended. Stop stirring up the ashes.
This story is great! Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise, and I hope to read more soon!!
6539304 Ignore those b(BLEEP)s!!!! Irks me too on how a wonderful story gets scrutinised so harshly. Bigots...
6546225 I wouldn't say bigots. More like idealists. Seems a lot of people can't comprehend the fact that part of being human is the fact that no one is infallible and even genuinely sweet caring people can drift past the point of moral grayness and that when it happens, they view it as not being a human trait at all. I know everyone wants to cling to their ideals and believe that everyone strives to do the right thing, but about half the world turns a blind eye to that morality and just do whatever they want. And even good people can break. How many genuinely good people without any prior warning signs have turned into killers? Too many to count, sadly. It's just the way things are, like it or not.
6546322
It's not exactly an ideal. More on that later.
Hitler was only an artist. A decent one too, if I remember right. We all know how he turned out.
I believe that I speak for the others here when I say that we do in fact see people who fall to their infallibilities, are showing a human trait: Free will. The problem, when it comes to this story, is that only a part of being human is free will. But what is the rest?
The rest of being human is the strive to make the 'right' choice, to be "the better man". -To make the hard choice of not letting your emotions get the better of you. -To do your best to step away from wars. -To draw the line between revenge, and justice, and actually stick to it. Some of the greatest choices are the hardest to make. Though, what constitutes as a "right choice" is only something you yourself can decide.
I believe that this is what we were looking for in this story when we saw "representation of humanity". Even by chapter 34, this hasn't really been addressed, which is understandably frustrating.
6546225
One of my ideals is that every story has room for improvements. Every story. So when I see a good story, and see something like a possible bad characterization, I get harsh. When I see a story with terrible grammar ( which - thankfully- this one doesn't have; just a few blips here and there to sort out), I get harsh, because even just one error can change how a sentence is perceived, a whole story-full of them causes headaches abound.
You wouldn't believe how many people on this site think that spelling and grammar doesn't matter. Here's a video that explains just why some people get so anal about these problems in stories:
Just one itty-bitty error can make a huge (and sometimes very expensive) difference.
6548428 Fair point and i agree!
6553393 I don't blame you for thinking this, but it isn't true. It isn't actually burning gas. I did explain it a bit quickly, so just let me explain myself.
For one, stars aren't gas. They are made out of plasma, a forth state of matter, which is a super-heated gas. (Super-heated in that hydrogen in a plasma state is ~10^12 K.) Now you could say it's on fire, since flames technically are a sort of pseudo-plasma, being a electron plasma, but the plasma of stars is made out of actual matters, so protons and neutrons. Plasma is the state where matter is hot enough that it moves fast enough to overcome the Van der Waals forces occasionally, which means nuclear fusion, the melting of 2 nuclei, which is why I called them Nuclear fission reactors. Now, when 2 nuclei fuse together, they release a photon, can't recall exactly why, but you'll be able to find that by a little googling, These photons are the light that we see on earth.
Now technically the sun doesn't color the sky blue, theoretically that could be done with artificial light, but that's a whole other can of worms called the Tyndall Effect.
To be honest, I have no knowledge about the difference between stable and flickering stars, so I'll take your word for that unless proven otherwise.
I hoped I cleared myself up, and if there's any mistake, please enlighten me. I'm always eager to learn.
6553881 Here's where I got that idea from.
