Well, if you want a long, in depth answer, I would have to spend some time composing it. The short version is: I like what you're doing with James, his character hasn't faltered, despite the fact that he now has as much power as both princesses and could easily murder anything. Most humans would have indeed gone mad. His relationship with Fluttershy is believable, though there are things I wish you could do with it, but this is your story. Though, the fact that 3 of the other mane 6 have crushes on him strikes me as a bit odd. He is exotic, yes, but still... He is a kind heart, and I only hope it doesn't get ruined during the rest of the story, though now that you've introduced Chrysalis' machinations into the whole thing, Celestia only knows.

Basically, finish it so I can give you a real reason!

Good to know. But she is unrelated to the disaster at hand- she has no way of controlling the celestial bodys- so she is irrelevant.

The creature had a strange crooked horn and the wings… I could barely see them in the darkness. They seemed to be as sheer as insect wings. Regardless, the creature continued to watch me from a distance. It did not seem aggressive, so I removed my hand from my sword’s hilt. I said nothing, waiting for the creature to react.

Ummm.... Chryssie?

It's been five months, but I finally got through this chapter!

I do like that the story provides a really good explanation of the fights that it's easy to visualize them enough that it doesn't require a double take.

Definitely interested in seeing exactly how he plans on doing this plan to save NM, but I'll find out soon.

Also very interested in finding what's the whole thing with the past with humanity, hoping it's not just a thing of humans were evil cause they're greedy or something. Discussions about a topic like that tends to get very political, but I don't think that this is that kind of story.
