My Personal Writing Rules

My rules that I follow in the writing world:
-Always give 100% to any writing project, no matter what it may be
-Always use your writing to follow your calling and make the world a better place.
-Always have a happy ending.
-Never write anything you would be ashamed to show any adult relative.
-Write out of love, not hatred.
-TAKE criticism with grace and humility.
-GIVE criticism graciously and humbly.
-Never create a Mary Sue.
-Always try to make yourself and everyone else better writers.
-Always have someone else proofread.
-Never write anything against your morals.
-In fanfiction, never destroy canon without good reason and doing it in a canon way.
-In fanfiction, never let a self-insert see the light of day unless it has been modified from an egotistical fantasy to a canon-fitting story other people with find enjoyable.
-And last but greatest, give God all the glory.
