I am proud to announce Colors of the Heart is now roughly 2/3rd's done, into it's 13th chapter and just past 100k words!

It won't be too much longer now! Then I will finally beable to start posting it. It's been difficult to resist the temptation of starting to post what I have, but I know it will all be worth it in the end!

So, after coming across a rather promising story while I was proofing, I got to talking with the author about where he was taking his story. I told him it had too much potential to leave as is, so I cleaned it up for him.

So here I stand... 5 months from my initial start, and Colors of the Heart is now roughly half finished.

Again I would like to thank everypony who has help me come this far, I wouldn't have even started without you all.

Three months ago if somepony would have told me I would soon be writing my first fanfic, I would have called them crazy. And said that I wasn't a good enough writer, or that I was too worried what others would think, but here I am. Three months later with an entire story's outline finished, 4 chapters done, and just over 30,000 words written.

This puts me at roughly the quarter mile mark, and from here it's all down hill. I just simply have to write it, but as we all know...

After much thought, a large douse of courage, brainstorming and a lot of advice from the all-mighty Kiroberos, my first of Three stories is in the works!

it will take me some time to write as i plan to finish the story before i post it. I will post chapters periodically so i can make any revisions or edits that need to be done before posting the following chapters.

Reading has always been one of my favorite ways to pass the time, even more so if its about something i love. while reading is fun and all i have always held the desire to write, but the fear of having something i put so much time, effect and passion into receiving bad critique puts me at a stall. to have something of mine like that shot down would crush me.
