I've been struck with sudden inspiration to write. I've been working on the story nonstop since I wrote the last blog post, and I'm already almost done. I feel like the first draft was the best one out of the other 3 chapters, so revision shouldn't take that long. Expect it to be out either tonight or by tomorrow night.

Yup. Got no work done at all over spring break. Technically, my spring break ends today and I go back to school after the weekend. I never realized how short this upcoming chapter is. I'm working on extending it as much as I can without it getting boring or redundant. Expect it to come out this saturday.

Chapter 3 won't be the last one. There will probably be 4 or 5 chapters, and I'm hoping 5. Part of the reason why chapter 3 was delayed was because I couldn't figure out how to end it the way I wanted it to. I think it's currently too early in the story for it to end that way, and by lengthening it I can make it end the way that was planned out. It probably won't come out this saturday. I've had a couple of sudden drawbacks, mainly random internet outages (can't use google docs), a new watch (can't stop messing with it), and a solo I have to play on thursday and saturday for band. I can probably finish the chapter by the date, but i'll have to haul ass on it which I don't like doing. I'm not even sure when my performance time on saturday is, but it'll probably be between 10am and 2pm central time.

I'm going to rewrite chapter 1 again (probably not the first scene though) to see if I can get it on EqD. If it gets accepted I'll either delete the old one or post it as a new story and retitle the old one if the mods are okay with it.

Well, it's up! I wanted to post it while the new episode aired, but there were a few delays, mainly a pre- reader gone AWOL and a surprise trip the the local shooting range. It's up, though! that's all that matters!

Chapter 2 progress is... slow at best. I don't have the inspiration about what will happen in the story like I did in chapter 1. I expect it to be done in a little over 2 weeks. This is not the official ETA, just an estimate based on how long chapter 1 took.
