I've made a few minor changes to my new oneshot, The Alicorn. Toned down a line near the end (not really, but I changed it so it's left to the imagination.) I also modified how another certain sequence near the end plays out, because I re-read it and realized Celestia's actions didn't really fit her character, even with the slight liberties the story takes with it. I think the changes work for the better, honestly.

Yes, another short story has decided to be written by me. It shouldn't take me too long - I'm already halfway finished with it. This one won't be sad or dark. It's just going to be a very lighthearted, heartwearming slice of life oneshot. I think I can even afford a brief sample this time:

EqD pre-readers requested some work be done on Family & Friends to make it worthy of submission, so it's currently in submission for a ponychan review process. Even I'm already seeing some of the issues the pre-readers noted for me, and other ways I can make it better (Mental note: Always give myself a day of rest before deciding whether a story is submit-worthy.) So in the near future, that will get a makeover, and hopefully the story will be better.

I'm currently working out what will be a relatively short oneshot fic. It will be unrelated to any of my already-posted stories. I'd post a sample like I normally do, but unfortunately doing so would probably give away the whole thing instantly, and I don't want that. Be on the lookout for this soon. It shouldn't affect the wait for the next Revamp chapter too much.

...so Chapter 1 of Night of the Shy (Revamp) has been updated with a description of that. I literally added one word, so it's not a big deal revision. But whatever, I've settled on a colour for him now!
