Alright, I'm going to be updating a new chapter in Loudest Sound this weekend. To keep everyone from freaking out, this one is from Rarity's perspective. I wanted to practice and see what it was like. I have this idea for a murder mystery told by Rarity and wanted to see how hard it would be. I really enjoyed it, so it's on the list. It's way down on the list, but it's on there.

Holy crap. I think I'm finally done with Rest and Relaxation. It's only 49K, but it's taken me forever. I'm going to sit on it and wait until after Cap Con, then reread it to make sure they're no glaring mistakes. Then I'll upload it. I'm going to take a little while off from writing to get my work life running smooth so I can have more time to write.

Well, I was going to rant about the economic devastation caused by Fluttershy’s sodimizingly stupid solution in Bats, but it begged the question: “Wait, how big is Sweet Apple Acres?” So, using observations and rough math I’m going to try and find a solution. Lets start with animals:

Sheep: Using this picture, it looks like 8 to 10 sheep. You can usually keep an ewe on half an acre, so at least five acres.

So, tomorrow morning they're burying a marine who died over seas in a "training accident". Not going to go into that, but, well, Westboro is going to be showing up. They've already arrived in town. Stores all over town have already started putting up signs stating they're not welcome behind their doors. It's part of the country that if ANYTHING happens these poor bastards are dead and nobody will ever find them.

Okay, so big stuff has been going on in my life. As I mentioned in a prior blog. My girlfriend left me. Well. We didn't get back together or anything, but we did agree to start talking to each other again. And seeing as she was my editor, she's agreed to go back to working on my stuff. So all the stuff I've got back logged she's currently going over now. So I should be publishing again soon.

Alright, I've started taking the time I was down with to start working on some cover art. The others ones are being worked on by a rl buddy who's now only working three days a week. So I should be getting more of them done. I just happened to be dicking around with GIMP and made the new one for Cursorial Hunter. Yay me!

Well, I haven't thrown in the towel. In fact I've gotten three and a half written. The problem is my girlfriend left me. She was my editor and a good one. Now I've got to find a replacement. Not only that, but I was using her laptop to sit in the living room and write while I was watching tv. I've got a desk top, but it's in the back room...alone...in the dark. So it's thrown off my writing game.
