So my writing schedules got a little jumbled because I just got a full-time job. Still adjusting to it and the umpteen music things I have going on at the same time. However, I do have a preview for the next chapter of "The Book of Friendship," one that I think might help to clarify for some of you if the ending of the last chapter was a little unclear.

Well, I should have a new chapter of The Book of Friendship up by the start of next week! I bet you were thinking you'd have to wait until July.

And suddenly you realize that none of your ending ideas reeeeeally make a whole lot of sense. Been stumped on this for like two months.

I Have a Hat has just been approved by Equestria Daily!

Was pretty good. Not quite as good as Rainbow Rocks, but fairly solid. Got idea for a one-shot about the ponies reacting to the big holes in the sky.

I have just finished a draft of the next chapter of The Book of Friendship. Hopefully I'll be able to post it soon and get cranking on the next one.

So, since I posted that story last week I've been working fairly consistently at writing every day, and I'm making good progress on the next chapter of The Book of Friendship. Man, I've been writing that story for what, four years? Dang.

Kind of a depressing thought that there's a decent number of people who were reading and following it early on that have since left the fandom.

I do not understand the point of “cosplayer in Equestria” (or “Displaced”) stories.

Like, okay, let’s talk a little about crossovers.

Like, first we have stories like Archives of the Friendquisition or Fallout: Equestria, where it’s sort of a blended setting that uses elements from the crossover’d material is used in an interesting way and the thematic juxtaposition makes for some interesting storytelling opportunities. Personally, I think this is the best way to approach a crossover.
