This is just a quick blog post to let you all know that I am, in fact, working on the next chapter of Consanguinity. Unfortunately, my sinus problems have returned with the change of the seasons, so I'm having to work on days when it doesn't feel like the front of my face is being squeezed towards the back of my head as well as pop Tylenol Severe Sinus as often as needed... which leads to me not getting a lot of writing done, at least not as fast as I was before.

Well, I finally did it.

Well, it's official: I will not be keeping my job. It's not a very comfortable situation to find myself in, honestly, but that's how it is.

This does mean (as evinced by my recent update of The Moon and Stars) that I'll be writing a whole lot in the next month while I wait to see if my (now former) place of employment is going to open positions back up for me to slide into. I've been told that chances are good, so I'm willing to wait... which means that writing is going to get done!

Things kinda fell apart around June in 2015, and unfortunately for you and for me that means I went about 6 months without being very productive at all. I started so strong!! I was writing a lot (not necessarily on pony things, but writing a lot!) and on track to keep Lily going and get that done in less than two freaking years... life, however, had different plans.
