For about as long as I can remember, it's not only the music itself that made a track embed itself in my mind. Just as much the sound, it was the visuals of the music videos that made me remember the songs and later helped me look up the song again.

I'm sad to say that most modern music videos kinda feel like the same to me, with a few exceptions. No one, at least from what I've seen, tries anything new. It's all special effects and fast-cuts upon fast-cuts.
