Yea or Nay?

I've decided to keep the name of "Rarity's Tale". I think its simplicity has grown on me. I'm dusting up odds and ends and killing off red herring. I might make shorter chapters. I think my tendency towards wordiness and making the chapters as long as they are has been scaring off readers. I'm starting to feel neglected.

I won't go through another plot change, but I'm starting at chapter one while I clean, and I'm injecting a few things that are new.

Bear with me. I'm still not happy with how Rarity's Tale is turning out. I've got a few red herring I need to kill and some extraneous bits that I'm not even sure if I can turn into Chekhov's Guns(Chekhov's Armory?). I might even give it a title change.

A person on Ponychan reviewed the older version of Rarity's Tale, and it gave me a lot to think about over my writing style. I am currently cleaning up Chapter One based on what I've learned. Rereading won't be necessary if you don't want. I am just searching for ways to make phrases seem more active and less passive, rearranging sentences, and putting more shine on emotionally dead parts. It reads a bit better now.

The new and hopefully improved Rarity's Tale is underway. It's basically similar to the old Rarity's Tale, but with fresh new and exciting plot points. All the old chapters have been deleted.

My very first chapter on the reboot 2.0 is already well on it's way to being twelve to thirteen pages long. I've got a few exciting ideas in store. Stay tuned.

If successful, expect a FiM version of The Amory Wars saga sometime in the future.

I'm back in the game! I can see now that my opening hook was weak. I just thought of a couple ideas that I think might work better as a hook and might even give a sense of conflict. I need to run some scenes by my editor when I get them in first draft mode.

Rarity's Tale is on hiatus indefinitely until I can get this stupid thing up to snuff and professional level. At least up to where I can field it past Equestria Daily and their Fort Knox-level of standards combined with their labyrinth-like ambiguity. When it comes out(IF it comes out), it'll most likely be a completely different beast entirely... Yet again.
