Interestingly, this is the first chapter written as a five thousand word chapter. Chapters One through Four were initially two ten thousand chapters, and though I played with the scene ordering when I broke them into four, I think there is some element of that bleeding over. Hopefully, each chapter feels more cohesive and complete from now on, instead of cutting mid-way through a characters section.

Another week, another chapter, and with it a return to Trixie's perspective. The story's still getting off the ground, and we continue to focus on introducing characters, setting up goals and motivations and suffering through some exposition. I can't say when this trend is going to end, but I can promise that when it does, it's going to end in a big way.

Chapter Two! Yet more introductions--here we have Twilight, and through her, a touch of each of the Bearers. They've certainly matured since FiM (which is now a good sixteen years in the past). Lethe, and more specifically, Coromancy, changed a lot of things for each of them, as they briefly discussed.

Luna has a touch more backstory. As you might guess from the title, she has a major role to play, but it is a ways off yet.

Here, we meet Boundless and Trixie, who met right at the end of Lethe, and Brash and Cumulus, the two voices in Trixie's head. So, I'm finally, FINALLY, ready to publish Lethe's continuation - The Moon Also Rises. I mentioned in the comments on Lethe's final chapter that it was sort of a prequel, well, this is the main event. I've written 64,000 words so far, and can vaguely make out some sort of ending way, way off in the distance.
