Yes it's true! I've started work on a new story! It's currently sitting at a little over 1400 words and I think I'm close to - or at the point I want to make the end of the first chapter. I'm just not sure on the MC's name so that's something I'll have to settle before submitting it.

I've been gone over a year for various reasons and I'm really sorry to have just up and left. I will try to get some new stuff out sometime soon, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to continue either of my two series right away if at all. I may confine myself to one shots or short stories from now on.

Considering the direction that my muse has led me in writing "The Lay of Floreat & Cenwulf" - namely through Cenwulf's 14 year old son reading about him I have reached a decision.

I think a 14 year old should not be reading certain things, especially graphic descriptions of his parents love life. To that end, the book given to him has had those things excised from it by his mother.

Although I am only one chapter in, I am really confident about my new story. I think I have created some very good characters, who interact in believable ways. I particularly like the relationship between Floreat and her Satyr son, Leofric. I plan on keeping reader guessing where it is going - how did Floreat & Cenwulf fall in love? Where is he now?

I am almost done with the new chapter of A Gentleman's journal. It is just over 4000 words long and by Friday or Saturday should be up to 6000+ and ready for publishing. Hopefully you guys think it is worth the wait as I'm working hard to make it a really good chapter. I may take a hiatus from A Gentleman's Journal to start on Floreat & Cenwulf for a while.

I really really really really REALLY REALLY want to appologise for the huge delay in getting the next chapter of A Gentleman's Journal done. I'm working frantically on it and aim to have it up before the fortnight is out.

With the impending airing of the season four premire, I can assure you of the next chapter of "A Gentlemans' journal". I can now write without worrying about plot holes caused by discrepancies between the show and what I write (as I want to have my story have elements of the shows i.e Discord being reformed)

To everyone waiting to see more of my story, I'm sorry. I've had some things to deal with lately. In addition my muse left me and I was affraid to continue ahead of season four. I hope to have the next chapter done soon though.
