Alright, it's time for an update on where I stand writing wise.

Chapter 13 of The First Year is underway, titled Aftermath

I'm finishing up my TCB side project as well, should have it done by this weekend

And, I've decided to continue working on a project I started a few weeks ago, not sure when I'll be done with it, but will try to keep a more consistent schedule with it and TFY

Had an interesting conversation in the IRC the other night, a hilarious and heartwarming idea spawned from it, and I will be writing it. Expect it in the next day or so pending motivation and moderation.

With college over for good, gone are the days of homework deadlines getting in the way of my writing. However, I'll need to start looking for jobs to continue being able to pay for things like the internet, food and rent. So I won't be able to devote 100% of my time to writing... realistically it'd be about 33% to writing, 33% to Warhammer 40k, and 33% to job hunting. The remaining 1% will be for miscellaneous activities.

It's true. Finding Your Wings is awaiting moderation as I type, still not cover art, but that should be coming by the end of this week.

On the note of this week, I'm working on Chapter 12 for The First Year, but my finals and graduation are this week, so I don't know how much time I'll be able to devote to writing. However, as soon as this semester ends you can expect me to turn the writing meter up to eleven

Welp, turns out there's a major homework assignment due tomorrow that my college's online system didn't think i needed to know about... so Chapter 11 will therefore not be coming out tomorrow like i planned. My apologies

I liked these episodes. The musical numbers were very well done to me, and as much reservation as I had about Cadence coming in, I came out liking her as a character. Was she as well developed as I would have liked? Of course not. Same goes for Shining Armor.

Yes, you read it right. Shy of 19,000 words by 134 words, it's going to be reviewed a little bit more to fix some minor problems, but it will be coming to a website near you by the end of this week (waiting for the cover art to be finished).

So far I know The First Year has been a little low on the action compared to the political intrigue, and I can safely tell you that most of it is now out of the way. I wanted to have the political events happen first because honestly to me that is what would happen. Now that my sociopolitical stage is set up, the heavyweight plot elements are now free to start slamming the players with little to no warning, just like natural disasters in the real world so often do. Just released Chapter 8 onto a screen near you, in which some of the curtain is pulled back explaining my background multiverse. Can't go into too much detail yet (spoilers and all), but there's little tidbits for you to ponder.

As for Finding Your Wings, it's going nicely, expecting to have it out for you all sometime by the middle of next week depending on how badly college wants to beat me with the Busy Bat.

As the title suggests, The First Year is taking a break for a short while to allow me to work on a related one-shot, Finding Your Wings, a story about an industrious little earth pony with his eyes on the sky. However, fear not for i'm blazing along on this story and expect to have it completed and hopefully released this week pending my acquisition of cover art.
