So, it's been a while. I'm still working on all my projects, but in light of the fact that I can't even keep to a 1-chapter a month schedule, I've taken the drastic measures of putting Sword and Song and Lavender Unicorn Syndrome on hiatus. I'm running the gauntlet of exhaustion right now. Re-balancing my life and writing with my work schedule is proving... difficult. As such I'm way behind on the next chapter of Harmony Theory. So it's not coming out for at least two weeks. No one is more disappointed than I am, because I am getting very close to some scenes that I've been planning for years, and I'm super-excited to write them, as, I hope, you will be excited when you read them.

Sword and Song part 3 is posted. It's only half of what I meant for this part, but I am gainfully employed once again (yay!), which is limiting my writing time. This will stretch out how quickly Sword and Song comes to its conclusion, but hopefully won't impact my story schedule otherwise.

It's been a rough week. I had a family reunion to attend. This reunion involved an 8 hour drive out to the campgrounds where it was being held, a series of mishaps that left me without any pants or shorts, which forced me to wear my swim trunks the entire time, me breaking my own (brand-new) tent by tripping on my way out of it, raucous parties by my neighbours until 2am, sunburn, approximately 50 members of my extended family on my mother's side to deal with, and a speeding ticket on the way

Part 2 of Sword and Song is going up a little early, for reasons of my own impatience.

I'm hoping it'll get a little more love now that it's got some more substance to it. The Monster Hunters interlude is longer than I intended, but I think it's worth it.
