The Princess grinned wryly as a harried-looking pony burst into her office, stumbling to a stop, momentarily seeming mortified at their own entrance, before schooling their face into the 'Serious Report Face', as The Princess dubbed it in her head.

"Fleeting Scout, to what do I owe the pleasure to this evening..." she trailed off. This unicorn was one of the subjects she was more fond of, though she never said it aloud. His composure and fortitude made him indispensable in calming down her more... excitable ponies when they got into a tizzy (which, sadly, was often). To see him in such a state was slightly suprising.

"Prin- Your Highness." At this, The Princess's singular inquisitive eyebrow inched even higher. "There's a... pony. Seeking audience with you."

This sequence of events was starting to trouble The Princess, who was well aware that the pony in front of her was well aware that she never held audience to any creatures after the time she deemed 'visiting hours'. The hint of fear in Fleeting's gaze pushed her out of her seat, gesturing for him to lead her on as they exited the office as he continued reported.

"It... They made it past the door guards somehow. They insisted on seeing you, saying it was an urgent matter, and when I directed them to come tomorrow instead, they made it clear that they would not".

Clearly, being close to his Princess again allowed Fleeting Scout to regain his famed composure (well, famed to her, at least), as he recounted the events clearly and concisely.

"I see. And what was it?" At the confused look on her pony's face, she elaborated. "I noticed you didnt mention making an attempt to remove them from the castle. What made you come straight to me?".

At this, Fleeting Scout shivered. "I've seen many strange sights serving you, Your Highness, but this pony..." He looked The Princess straight in the eyes. "There's something wrong with them, I could feel it. Something more evil than I've ever seen".
