i have resumed writing and completed an initial writing of chapter 15.

chapter 15 will be released whenever my editors sign off on it. after being inactive so long, it would be unfair of me to rush them.

sorry for being silent so long, i have been battling a depressive episode and problems at work.

while publishing chapter 14, i also published a minor revision of chapter 13, which adds more info on the midi technology.

while publishing the revision for chapter 13, i accidentally deleted and republished the chapter, messing up the publish date. sorry.

However, the provider of this AI has made some deeply immoral decisions that i can no longer justify supporting them.

Their backwards ideas on harm reduction, fiction as coping tools, and the insane claim that people can be harmed by unpublished fiction is a moral desaster coming from their position of what looks like religious fundamentalism.

even though i plan to have some exploration, overcoming odds in later chapters, i don't know how long it'll take me to get to that point, and even then, the focus is more on the day job of being a freighter ship.

i might change it back later if and only if the story evolves into something more adventure-y
