Stargirl: Season 1 Review · 4:49pm Aug 10th, 2020

I am pleasantly surprised at this show... I have no complaints whatsoever!

It left me satisfied and wanting more at the same time.

I think my favorite thing about this show is the attitude of the characters. For once, a franchise is having their teenage superheroes actually act like teenagers! They make dumb mistakes, they hold grudges and let their emotions get the better of them at the worst possible times. They're immature and that's the point!

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

For All You Star Wars Fans! · 3:00pm Jul 14th, 2020

I have discovered that the "Bad Batch" team from the Clone Wars tv series are getting their own show on Disney+!

I don't know exactly when it will premiere (sometime in 2021), but I have heard that the premise will be the team (including Echo) now working as mercenaries in the early days of the Empire.

Let me know who your favorite member is down below! (mine's Crosshair)

Stargirl: First Impressions · 6:52pm May 19th, 2020

I like it, definitely a breath of fresh air compared to how dark and gritty the other DCW shows have gotten... not to say that the other shows are bad in any way, but this is a nice change of pace.

I really love the mystery of whether or not Starman is her actual father and the excitement of having Luke Wilson playing the awkward stepfather/sidekick with an awesome mech.

I only have three questions:

1. Are any members of the JSA still alive?

Mind. Blown. · 6:43pm May 19th, 2020

I thought I'd type in a word that I was certain would be autocorrected, but it wasn't!

There're: an abridged version of "there are".

I looked it up, turns out it's grammatically correct!

Mind. Blown. :rainbowhuh::rainbowderp::twilightoops::pinkiegasp::applejackconfused:

How I Handled The End · 3:34pm Mar 17th, 2020

Not well. Not. Well. At. All!

This show had been with me since just before I started high school (see previous blog). Just the thought of these ponies always brought a smile to my face, especially during a lot of dark times in my life.

I actually put off watching the finale for a week because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to handle it. Eventually, I caved and watched Smurfvlogs' reaction to it just so I wouldn't have to watch it without some kind of support.

My Brony Story · 3:02pm Mar 17th, 2020

I always enjoy reading about how others became fans of the show, so here's my two bits:

Back in the summer of 2013, my family helped my neighbors move out of their house. When I entered their living room, I found their daughter watching the first Equestria Girls. It was the scene where Twilight peeked around the corner and saw Fluttershy being bullied by Sunset Shimmer. Feeling an odd sense of curiosity, I found myself trying to watch as much of that movie as I could.
