A fairly busy week has left me unable to have the chapter finished by this weekend like I said it would be. But I'm at around the half way mark in writing it now, so it shouldn't be more than a few days left to go, and then it'll be off to the pre-reader(s) for a quick analysis and it should be up. I'm not going to promise an exact time frame like last time, as that didn't exactly go well this time around. But it'll get done, I assure you that much!

The season finale and the buildup to it as distracted my train of thought from writing it seems. But it seems like the aftershocks from the controversy are dying down now so hopefully I don't need to have my say anymore. But yes, to sum up, I have a fair few negatives about the latest episode, but a few positives as well. But we won't go into them here.

Reasonable to the point where although I haven't typed any of it up yet, I've clocked about 2,500 words on the 'butthurt' fic I mentioned last week. Which isn't bad when the terrible week I've had is factored into it.

Only, while writing it, I've become a lot more involved in the idea and it's probably going to be a little longer than a one-shot now. I reckon 3-4 chapters worth.

Well, a friendship with my keyboard at least.

I'm convinced that getting writers block one sentence into your main fic idea isn't a good sign, so I've decided to start with a few shorter ones while I try to get the proverbial juices flowing for at least the prologue of my fic.

So my first story will probably be a one-shot to outsource my 'butthurt' from the season finale spoiler. Yes it upsets me somewhat with what's happening, but I'll give it a chance. Just one.
