I've talked about it before, but I'm thinking of doing a side-story to Mort Takes a Holiday. My current plan is to make a series of one shots that focus around Thanasia, Mort, and the other shades. I've noticed during this whole rewrite that the first two chapters of the story have always given me the most trouble. Yes, the rest of the story has had tweaks here and there, but it's the first two chapters that set everything up. You have to get it right, not just so your story can make sense, but also so new readers can be sucked into the story, and not write it off.
