James Stewart and the brilliant film "Harvey". · 9:32pm April 6th

The subtle brilliance that is the alley scene.

This user review on IMDB says it best.

I have read that James Stewart considered Elwood P. Dowd his most personally significant role. In a career that spanned decades and included such great works at It's a Wonderful Life and Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, choosing Harvey's friend, Elwood, as his personal favorite says something about rather powerful about Mr. Stewart and Mr. Dowd.

If you get PBS, then these episodes sound interesting. · 2:04am April 3rd

This is what will be on the Arkansas branch of PBS, but I'd presume it'll be the same nationally/streaming online.

Nature - Forest Of The Lynx: Kalkalpen National Park in the Austrian Alps was abandoned and unmanaged by man for close to a quarter of a century. Now the forest's dramatic cycle of regeneration is bringing back pygmy owls, woodpeckers, colorful insects and even the lynx.

RIP Dick Dale, the "king of surf guitar" · 2:35am March 18th

If you're sitting there thinking "I've never heard any Dick Dale music" then if you've seen "Pulp Fiction" you've heard Dick Dale. The opening song in that film is "Miserlou" by Dick Dale.

I saw the trailer for the final season of MLP:FiM · 12:40am March 15th

I'm depressed. The final season (season 9) of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic starts in April. I feel like I did going through the last Wheel Of Time book. The end is in sight. No idea what the final season holds.

Anyway, I'll be fine. But this show, fandom, and fanfiction community have become huge to me in these last two years and well it's closing soon. Maybe G5 will be great. I dunno.

All formations on Saturn's moon Titan must be named for places in Lord of the Rings or Dune. Everything on Jupiter's moon Io must be fire-themed (or related to Dante's Inferno). Places on Pluto's moon Charon must be named for fictional space expeditions.
