Oh-ho ho ho! · 8:22pm Oct 29th, 2018

So, chapter 17 is turning out pretty well. The disastrous press conference is finished, I've completed the scene directly after it where Applejack and Twilight escort Titus through the Everfree to his crashed ship, and I'm nearly done with Twilight and Titus nerding out over ships which is how their friendship starts. Still debating if I should do the Luna scene where she comes over and he tells the story of stealing the ship; thoughts? Is that something you'd like to read? Haven't started the

An invite... · 4:15am Oct 12th, 2018

You're finally at home, minding your own business and really enjoying whatever it is you do on your day off after completing the list of errands you needed to run around town when there's some sort of loud whooping in the distance. Checking the time you chalk it up as some foals playing or racing through the street after school so you pay it little mind but it grows closer before cutting out before you could identify it.

Progress Update 2: Ch. 17 · 5:16pm Sep 26th, 2018

For the start of Ch. 17 I'm writing a flashback that occurs right as Titus leaves the library for the press conference that Ch. 6 ends with (thanks long time reader @The Ohvist for suggesting this!). After that disaster Twilight and Applejack are escorting Titus back to where his ship had crashed in the Everfree, per the request of Princess Luna that he be given time to adjust to Equestria, when they have a small conversation. I just want to say it's awesome when you realize something small you

Progress Report: Ch. 17 · 12:38am Sep 4th, 2018

Alright, I'm currently 3k words 4.5k words into the opening scene of our next chapter (working title of "Waking" as of now) which opens with a flashback to just a few days after the crash where Titus and Twilight are getting to know each other better but before Twilight's rescue from the timberwolves and her discovery of Titus' secret. I'm also revealing a few important factors that will be key points for Lyra and her plans for finding the missing human, but mostly I wanted to shed a

RE: Help "needed" · 1:33pm Jul 19th, 2018

Submissions so far are awesome, keep them coming! Some of our candidates are really put on the spot and I'm having fun writing their responses, or on occasions where somepony else might jump in with their own elder-sibling take/opinion :trollestia:

I'm close to finishing up the flashback sequence with Nightwatch at which point I'll then jump to Quickbolt's perspective to round out our chapter. From there it's a few editing passes, cleanup, and then an official Publish!

Okay, maybe saying "need" was a strong word, but I'd like your help. For an upcoming chapter (directly post GRA arc) I'm doing an interview section and that's where YOU (yes you reading this) can come in! If you're interested in participating I ask that you put yourself into the position of a media pony and come up with a question your pony would ask at a press conference which can be directed at Celestia, Luna, Twilight, Titus, Lyra, or the Sergeants, and if it's any additional thought

Jeez mobile is aweful... · 5:25am Jun 28th, 2018

Hi! Still here, still working away...

Some of you may have caught a bit of a sneak peek at the upcoming chapter when it was inadvertently published while trying to write on mobile. Well, after losing a few thousand words of progress because it failed to actually save to the site I'm back to writing in Google docs for peace of mind.

Yes! Found the bit I had written I thought had been lost. Turns out it was on my OLD phone saved as a note or on the memo pad (this was the Dark Ages, aka before I got the Gdocs app) and unlike everything else that had gotten copied over to the new phone and Gdocs this one got lost in the shuffle. Woo!
