The next chapter is the final, and it's already longer than any other chapter in the story. I've been putting off doing it because of how badly I want to do it right; I don't want it to spontaneously end like the original story did. Pacing is key, and it's really hard for me to determine pacing until I proofread it myself.

Anyway, the next chapter is most definitely the final, and is going to last around 5,000 words long I estimate.

Now that the holidays are over and chapters are well overdo, I'll be trying to put out chapters every two days again. Even then, there are only like 5 chapters left of the story to go. Excuse my laziness for the time being.

A toast to 2015, and also a toast to season 5 of MLP. Season 5 was in my opinion the best season yet, so I'm heavily looking forward to the next. Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

I should be working on the new chapter for I Dreamt to Fly right now but instead I'm sat here watching Star Wars battle scenes. Whoops. At least the new chapter is 2,000 words so far already.

I can't even make a few paragraphs of the next chapter without blanking out and not knowing what to do. It's really starting to frustrate me as I've just sat here for two hours with nothing but a blank word document.

Quite an accomplishment if you ask me, even if it's still quite a low word count. Still, we're only around half way to the end. There's still a lot that needs to happen.

Everyone or Everypony?
Something I always wondered when it came to writing. When you strive to both be 'authentic' and 'professional', it's kind of hard to choose between the two. Someone in the MLP universe in your story saying "everyone" just doesn't feel right since it's not what they say in the show. But does that mean you also have to be consistent with it around the story to not get people confused?

I am absolutely exhausted today, and I'd rather not force myself to write when it could end up turning out worse than if I wasn't tired. So I'm going to head to bed earlier than usual and hopefully be able to finish the chapter when I wake up.

Yep, it's only half done. There's still quite a lot to happen. In-fact, a majority of the first 10 chapters has been a build up to the main parts, which should happen moderately soon. There is at least going to be 20 chapters and around 40,000 words total. Actually don't quote me on that, I'm bad at estimates.

But hey, at least I don't do it after every sentence. One tip on the Editors Omnibus was to constantly use pronouns instead, which I do most of the time and only stop from using them when I put another pony into focus. That's when I either use a name or as EQD calls it "LUS."
