Hey I'm looking for a story about a Human male after losing his wife meets human Applejack and they hook up and he pays off her family mortgage and they leave her hometown and eventually settle down and start a new apple orchard.

Can anyone tell me what happened to it I can't find and an I can't remember the name to it.

Why is it that lately in a lot of fanfic's I've been reading people have been calling Rainbow Dash by the name of the pony she was based off of Firefly, or in some fic's cases editing there story and calling her by both names it gets a little confusing there. For example Flying High, Falling Hard by soundslikeponies calls her at the start of the first chapter Firefly but a few paragraphs later calls her Dash and this continues throughout the story.
