What's the major difference between a sad story and tragedy? I know tragedy's often involve the death of a main character, but some stories I've read where a character dies is marked "sad" but not "tragedy". So that brings me to the question; What makes a tragedy a tragedy, and how do I know if a story (involving death) should be listed as a tragedy or not?

Okay so my story Raising Rainbow currently has over 1,000 comments....

Wow....Just wow....

You guys seriously don't know how special that makes me feel... This story is my pride and joy. It takes a lot out of me, but it's so worth it. Thank you so, so much for all the support this story's gotten. You all mean a lot to me.

Also, before I started Raising Rainbow my longest story was 22,000 words long.... This one's going on 100,000 words. This is huge for me.
