No it's not dead. No this isn't the same 'not dead' as my previous story, which IS dead. I've been busy IRL, but I've also been planning a lot of stuff involving the story, as the new cover art will show.

So, I've finally decided to start writing again, but I can no longer continue Dull Skies, so I'm gonna have to cancel it. I'm going to stick to short stories from now on, and already have a story in the works. It's going to be rather short (5500 words max) but I may go back and extend it later. More on that when it's closer to ready.

Ok, so I know what you're all thinking. "When is this fanfic gonna come back?!" Well I have good news and bad news:

Good news is that I'm going to start rewriting it very soon. The bad news? It will be rewritten to be a sequel of the RPG I'm making, MLPFiM: Nightmare. Why is that bad news? Because this means it will contain spoilers for the RPG and you may want to hold off reading it. Anyway for those who don't mind being spoiled, keep an eye out for Dull Skies v2

I'm still planning on writing Dull Skies, don't worry. I've just been in a bit of a writer's block. However, I have an idea for another story and hopefully writing the first chapter of that will get me back on track with Dull Skies as well.

I'm the kind of writer that will go weeks, sometimes months, without writing anything, then sit down one night and pop out several chapters in a row (fun fact, chapters 1, 2, and 3 were all written in one sitting)

In other words, I don't know when chapter 4 will be posted, but when it IS, it probably won't be the only one to appear. :D
