It’s been over two months since I updated Manor Del Toro but I do intend on finishing it after the first of the coming year. Over the last month, I have been working on a short story called “Gleeful Vengeance”, which was in part inspired by an episode of ‘Community’ about the ‘Glee Club’. I was doing so good the first couple of weeks and then the last couple of weeks, have just been crazy. I’m feel like I’m more than halfway done with this next chapter. Some time in the coming week, I should finally have it finished.

I’ve lost a lot of momentum and I really want to gain it back.

So… the last two weeks on Thursday, I had posted the first chapters of the story. That pattern was broken this weekend. I’m going to try to get a few more chapters written before I post the next one. I may post Chapter 3 next week if it’s done, just to make up for it.

You ever sit there and write a chapter thinking that it’s longer than it really is? Well that’s what kept repeatedly happening when writing chapter 2.

I probably proof read that chapter several times, but I guess it’s as long as it needed to be. Aw well. I’m thinking that future chapters might end up being longer. Still not one hundred percent sure what all is going to happen aside from a few details and the climax, but I think it’s going to keep getting better. At least I hope, ha ha.

This is the name of my new project. Excited to get more into the story itself. I’m currently working on Chapter 2 as we speak!

The story has been submitted for submission. Let’s hope it gets approved soon.

So as I said earlier, I am much looking forward to coming back and bringing a new story about my OC, well plural really. As I stated in my blog post earlier today, I’m looking at easing into the whole thing. Maybe doing a 5-7 chapter long story to start and who knows?

Wow! I know it’s been a long time here on FiM Fiction since I’ve done anything but it came to my attention that I have been on here for 9 years!

With that, I have a bit of news. I’m looking to make a return with Singer. Not as big as I had initially planned but a return nonetheless. We will see what happens. That’s all I can say at this point. I’m currently making plans and will soon start writing something of a short-ish story. And we will see what happens.

My passion for writing has somewhat dwindled over the last year. But somewhere inside of me wants to do it. If I do, it will have to be at a steady pace because I just don't have the time I used to have.

I hope that if I can come back and start posting stories again that I can work on bigger projects and not pressure myself to get them out.
