In less good news, I'm only about half in on the next chapter, as my life suffered a computer game attack. No, not Skyrim - abandonware! I'm showing my age at 40... But I will persevere and finish it this week for the proofreaders! Stay tuned!

And, lo, I have been rating bombed - a massive amount of very low votes in very short time, certainly from a single culprit. Not a big thing in the annals of the world, but very annoying, especially for small fry like me who don't have many votes anyway.

The moose (Alkes alkes) is an animal that has a big potential for being redonkulous. That made me hesitate to write a chapter where for at least a second someone is scared of a moose. The thing is, see, that I have found that my fellow Swedes have a less tendency to think of the beast as redonkulous than other people - especially, it seems, the people of US of A, who I sort of imagines make up the majority of bronies. That's because of the role the moose has in culture and media.

Sorry for that. And my tries at writing Vigg's version as some bloody Edda pastiche didn't work at all. And this chapter is only Vigg being Mr Exposition. And I don't think I got Spike's character right - again. (Which I dislike, because I love the snarky little guy.) Oh well. I thought it better for my speed to write this down, publish it, and be done with it, so I can continue with the story. I might go back and rewrite it later.

Writing on my two longer stories has just stopped - not long enough to call it a hiatus, but long enough I thought I'd admit it. Partially it's my natural tendency when I have energy to not how to direct it, which means I do too many things at once. Partially I have actually hit a snag in one place.
