In just a few short days since posting my latest story, the Element of Common Sense: the Nightmare, has achieved almost two-hundred views and garnered 20 upvotes. A feat which took my previous story almost six-months and seven chapters to get half that number of upvotes.

Good news, I have fixed my computer.

The bad news, I don't have time to write.

I am currently in the process of being worked to death at my current job, struggling to catch up on my schoolwork, and desperately trying to finish my security paperwork to get a new job.

Sleep is for the fucking weak!

My computer is broken. The monitor won't display. I can feed the video to my tv so I know the fault is with the monitor.

So, big deal, just get a new monitor right? Sure, if I could afford it!

So much work just put on hold until I can fix this...

I need a drink...

I don't really have anything important to talk about today except for something truly magical in my life: I actually got a full night's sleep.

This is a weird concept to me because now I've actually awoken feeling like I can handle anything, only for the harsh reality to crash in that I have to go to work in a few hours and I won't be able to leave until midnight. I think I've realized why I hate mornings now.

Thunderstorms all week are expected throughout the county, so what does this mean? It means I'm going to be stuck in traffic. FML

I live in San Diego and Comic Con has just opened, but I don't have tickets. That's ok because I didn't want to go anyway. Let me explain my reasons.

So as you can see I can enjoy myself just fine in this city and still indulge in geek culture without waiting in lines for little-to-no gain. So if you're in town I might just see you in the city.
