The writing is going pretty fast on this one, even though I cried a couple of times while writing it.

I will probably rearrange the chapters slightly within the next couple of days to match with Equestria Daily's guidelines - the 1100-word first chapter most likely won't fly. The chapter number may drop back to three in the process.

It's done. Despite the final chapter being of the fewest words in the story, I feels it ties it together nicely.

For those who don't realize, every chapter title was named after a song in some sort or fashion except for one. I like to think of it as a mini-soundtrack of sorts to help you get into my moods while I was writing it out.

Ok, so I kind of killed someone off in the story - except it was a dream, so it doesn't really count. My perfect record still stands. Nyah!

A special double-sized Chapter 9 is up. There are some heavy subjects referenced in the story, but don't worry. No ponies were irreparably damaged in the making of this chapter.

A Wild Chapter 8 Appeared!

Yes, things have been looking upbeat for the last couple of chapters, but Chapter 9 is going to spiral into one last dark patch before we conclude.

Stock up on the Kleenex.

Edit: No new chapter tonight, I have raids.

Chapter 7 is currently in the progress of being written.

I'm going to do something I never do... I'm going to put some actual work in it. No throwing it together in three hours like usual.

I decided to slightly incorporate S2 canon into the story. Discord won't be appearing (and it's a shame, because his voice actor is pure awesome), but some events leading to his predicament may be subtly referenced.

I know, I know, it's been twelve days so far. It may be a few more. I've got parts of Chapter 5 past the conceptual stage, but I'm stumbling on a beginning.

I don't have any plans to incorporate a certain Season 2 villain into the story at this time.

Finished Chapter 4 today. Wasn't sure there was going to be a Chapter 4 for a few days to come, but the ideas just started streaming in and I had to write them down! An Internet to the first one who can figure out where Chapter 4's title came from.

Chapter 2 is done. While I might start on Chapter 3 tonight, I likely won't finish it today. I'm still making those type of minor edits to Two that one has to sleep on first, and I have raids tonight (in the MMO sense, not the imageboard sense.)
