Season Two Overview (Part One) · 11:40pm Feb 16th, 2016

With season one, I didn’t like a lot of the episodes. Perhaps I was too harsh on that season. Yes, the way in which the characters acted in a lot of the episodes was terrible, but does that truly mean that those episodes deserve to be hated? Maybe not, seeing as how “hate” is probably too strong a word. I would just say that they weren’t as good as the other episodes in season one.

Episode 14: Suited for Success

This is one of those episodes that is so perfect that I have nothing to complain about. Really. The story was great. The characters were all wonderful. The moral was a very solid one. This was a Rarity episode and since its conception, there hasn’t been a single Rarity episode that I’ve outright hated.

Season One Overview (Part One) · 12:10am Jan 20th, 2016

After reading my thoughts on season five, a friend of mine on Skype said that he was eager to hear what I had to say regarding the other four seasons. I figured, “Why not?” I’m sure what little people follow me on this site would be interested in hearing what I think of the first four seasons. So, without further ado, let’s get started with season one.

The Songs for the Finales · 11:19pm Jan 4th, 2016

Is it just me or do the songs for the finales really stand out from the rest of the songs of the season? Even if you don't watch the show, you can tell just by listening to them that they were written for the season finale. There just seems to be a feel of finality to them that almost brings a tear to your eye when you listen to them. With songs like “Let the Rainbow Remind You” and “Friends Are Always There for You” the episodes that accompany could easily serve as the series finale,

Episode 14–Canterlot Boutique

I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned this, but Rarity is my third favorite pony, right behind Twilight and Fluttershy. What I loved about this episode was the simple fact that Rarity is expanding her business, so it’s nice to see that she’s finally achieving her dream of breaking out into the fashion world.

Season 5 Overview (Part One) · 12:43am Dec 15th, 2015

Season four premiered in November of 2013 and ended in May of 2014. We bronies had to endure for over a year without any new episodes. It wasn’t until early 2015 that we finally got some information regarding the new season, and the fifth season finally premiered in April of this year. There was a, thankfully, short hiatus during the summer, with the show returning to airing new episodes in September. The fifth season finally ended near the end of November.

Chipmunks VS. Star Wars · 12:19am Dec 8th, 2015

As some of you may be well aware, I am not a very big fan of Alvin and the Chipmunks. I absolutely despise the film series and the 2015 cartoon series is even worse. The problem with both of these installments is that the writing is as generic as you can get. No clever plot twists. No tweaking with old ideas and doing something new with them. No originality or creativity. No new ideas. No anything. So when the synopsis for Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip came about, I was

The Cutie Re-mark Episode Review · 12:50am Dec 1st, 2015

With how action-packed season four’s finale was, I imagine it was hard for a lot of us to see how the writers were going to top it in terms of entertainment value. The finale for season four had a lot of great action, some good character moments, and it tied everything up fairly well. With all of that, the finale for season five had a lot to live up to. Did the writers succeed? Let’s find out.

My Reaction to Finding Dory · 12:13am Nov 25th, 2015

In 2003, Pixar unveiled one of its most successful films, Finding Nemo. The film was a smash hit, raking in a whopping $930 million dollars at the box office. It’s easy to see why this film was so popular for its time. What wasn’t there to love about this film? Lovable, memorable characters, great comedy, and a story that practically anyone can relate to, whether you’re a kid or an adult. Plus, the score for the film was really good. I still consider the soundtrack to Finding

The Mane Attraction Episode Review · 11:26pm Nov 23rd, 2015

I think it’s only fitting that we all take a moment of silence in remembrance of Amy Keating Rogers. This was the last episode she wrote for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. We all know what a powerhouse “Crusaders of the Lost Mark” was, so I think it’s safe to say that many of us were skeptical as to whether she could top herself with this episode or not. Did she succeed? Did she fail? Let’s find out.
