Hooves

Her hoof
delicately stroked mine
soft
plush fur
brushing
up my foreleg
I tremble
and shiver
and hold my breath

it goes
back
down
touches
the edge
of my being

grasp
my foreleg
hold on for dear life
and don't let go
before I fall
away
