It will be a year soon since I put Shadow And The Heart on hiatus. I never though it would be on hold for that long, but well, procrastination. Anyway, since I'm on lock down with most of the world, I thought this would be a good time to get back to it. Before I start on any new chapters, I'm going to read over the story so far and see if anything needs touching up, beyond basic grammar and the like.

With the chapter 8 of Shadow And The Heart out, I feel that is a good place to stop the story for now. For a while I've been wanting to work on another story, but as I've come to find out I can only effectively work on two stories at once and still get one or two chapters done a month. (those two being Shadow And The Hearts and a off site story) Judging by the number of chapters I have left, It would be close to a year before I finished it, and I don't want to wait that long.

So while I had planed to move to a upload when finished schedule, turns out that wasn't the best idea. See the problem with doing that, as I found out, is that I have no incentive to work on it. Since I have all the time in the world, I ended up going from one protect to the next, wherever my interest pulled me, without really doing much on them.

Now I know I've never really had a set schedule for my uploads, but after I finished Twilight, Soldier of War and focused more on my other on going story, I realized I was just falling into the same patterns that I hated when I worked on TSOW. That being, going from one chapter to another without any real break, at least that's how it feels to me.

I just uploaded the next chapter in my new story, Shadow and the Heart, but I think I uploaded it too soon, because it's not showing up in the Latest Updates page. From what I could look up, you can only get on the front page once per day, and I was just a few hours too early. FML I'll have to be careful about that in the future.

Anyway, the new chapter is out for those that didn't see it.
