Happy New Years, folks! Still at my parents' place. Will be for the next few days. They tend to keep me busy. Or, rather, I tend to let them keep me busy. When I'm at my apartment it's all me all the time, but when I'm here I feel like my attention should be on them. I'm sure they appreciate it.

I had an epiphany yesterday, and so I’m back to talking about Bulletproof Heart. This time I’m looking for opinions!

Although it has been grindingly slow, I am indeed making progress on Book 2 of Bulletproof Heart. Of course, when I say “slow”, I mean in the last 15 months I have produced ~175,000 words for the story. So yeah, if you count 11k-12k words a month slow, then I’m going slow. I do, but I’m the writer. I’m allowed to give myself tough standards.
Well, folks, today’s the day. Bronycon. My first pony convention. At all. And yes, I really did spend 12 hours a day driving for three days in a row. Except the first day, that was 9 hours. I am immensely pleased. When I updated Bulletproof Heart on Tuesday I found it’s finally popular enough to hit the feature box again, even if only for an hour or so. I was a little disappointed when it fell out of the box so quickly upon first upload, but I consider this the justification for all the hard work I put into it.
