So, I’m going to do monthly updates. There are a few reasons for this. One is to ensure people some more that I am not dead and that I am also still working on whatever story I’m working on right now (which is helpful for a staggering project such as A War’s "sequel;" more on the quotes later). Another is to simply provide updates and thoughts on the writing process, any particular fics and books I’ve read and my comments on them, and other topics.

After a stupidly long time laying dormant about this, real work on A War's sequel—which I have tentatively titled The War of Our Lives—is underway. It is in the early outlining stages, but I have already mapped out the first chapter that way.

I may be bad at schedules these days, but I've finally figured out a somewhat stable timetable for when A War's sequel is coming out. If God is willing, then it'll come out between the middle of March to early April.

That also means that it'll publish almost a year after A War ended. I hope it'll be worth the wait.

A War will continue. Sort of. Took me long enough.

I was planning to reveal it much later in the month, but I decided, "Why not now?" Well, one good reason to do announce it now is because it means moving the Earth-meets-Equestria fic way over to 2019 because I haven't really thought of something plot-worthy for that yet.

I've got something for A War later this month. Nothing big. Just something.

There's not much to say, really. By the grace of God, I've finished this big story. Is it unwieldy at this length? Yes, but, at the very least, you can read this on a very long flight.

A little heads-up: I just did some progress on the second-to-last chapter of the story (which means that "Press Release" is the third-to-last chapter). If God is willing, I'll be releasing the final two chapters tomorrow. When that hits, I'll put up a post about what I think of the story and plans for the rest of the year.

Once again, due to technical difficulties, I wasn't able to write anything for today. Hopefully, things will straighten up tomorrow. Sooner or later, though, I might stop posting blog posts heralding one- or two-day delays.

Meanwhile, about those "Afterthoughts" posts on my other stories? I'll get to that in April, if God is willing.

I wasn't able to write a chapter yesterday due to technical difficulties. Hopefully, I'll be able to post one up today.

And, that's all.

The schedule's changed. Long story short, expect it to end by October or November (but if I'm optimistic about it, August). The reason why is that, when I said that it would end by December, I planned out a schedule of three chapters a week regularly. Now that I'm pumping out five to six per week, that means the story will end earlier. I might be able to squeeze in some more short stories here and there throughout, but I'm not sure.

So, I did something. That something was, well, planning out the storyline of "A War". I've set targets/milestones for each month, with the final chapter appearing by December. This tackles two problems of mine: pacing (which I'm awfully slow at when I'm not careful) and writer's block.

Not much else to say, really.
