That's right, I'm back to writing this story and I would have written more chapters these last 10 months but with the pandemic, and my life going topsy turvy, and moving out I'm back and ready to write more. Cause I've been sitting and stewing on ideas for like at this point a year and I need to get them out somehow. Slow going but I’m mostly out of that pandemic funk that made me rather bummed out for months on end so I have spent some time rereading my big story again and rewriting the bit of the chapter I had before stopping for a mental break. Hopefully I get out the chapter by this month sometime

Took break from writing it. But i'm back now and nearly 1k words into it so its coming at some point.

Feels weird coming back. Had to take time off cause it got rather exhausting to write, but everything's mostly back to normal on my end.

Done sooner than I expected, and barring some rewritten sections and having to reset my router- which almost made me lose my progress. I finished it. It could be longer, but I thought ending it for the moment on a decent nice moment felt better than extending it. Plus it was getting to the point that editing it was becoming a major hassle.

What does that entail now? Well. I introduced the science kid of Gallant. Had to tie in the extreme breeding program the gryphons are doing to make enough soildiers to some creature so I pulled out the character I needed and wanted to introduce since back then. So that means we have three different gryphons dealing with the war in about three different ways.

Touched briefly on Pinkie, not a long look, but she knows vaguely about Luna's feelings due to the moon.

Got ill from something we ate so that went fun for a few days and also with my mom getting stuff from her sister, I had to help her get ready for that (not going with her due to work so at least that is fun?) Finished. Definitely took a while. Would have been out earlier today if I didn't have to rewrite the last scene or two of it due to forgetting to save and accidentally backing out of the chapter. No matter, the ending of the chapter is the same and I think the rewrite helped me flesh out Dash and her parents meeting better cause that ending point existed there, but was radically different in tone.

6600 words. Finished the Luna/ Twilight scene. Went to the place I expected. Goes to a place definitely.

Finishing up the Manehattan section, probably be tomorrow or the next day, my birthday to release it. Probably then cause I took off the day.

This feels like a short chapter to me. Cause everything I definitely want in here, is either here, or will be. And it just feels good enough to almost release. I have issues with it, sure, I'm a writer. But it will work.

That is technically meaningless outside of length, so let's see what's actually in there- finished Rockville section for now- next few chapters might have more Pinkie, but for now, like how last chapter was very Flutterdash heavy, I am focusing on something else.
