So I;m working on the next chapter of I Am Become Death. It involves a shit ton of world building, which is both fun and tiring. I'm reworking the first part of the chapter into something akin to a journal. I'm enjoying it, but I'm already burning myself out mentally. I should just learn to do a little bit at a time.

I pumped out some more on the next chapter. Everything I'm doing is pretty much world building even before I get to the meat of the chapter. It's currently 1520 words and I'm not done with the world-building/lead up yet. It's kind of great. I am establishing a new race, which takes a bit of time.

It was a nice night tonight. Relatively steady on my end. We had three parties, one at 4:15, one at 5, and one at 7. The 4:15 one actually stayed for awhile. It was a 15-top. The 5 was a 14, and the 7 was planned to be a 15 but it turned out it was a 17 plus 2 kids. What's worse about that last one? They virtually demanded they be put in the family room. Even though they were all crammed against each other. The poor kids had to have a little table brought in for them, and they sat in the corner

I somehow got everything together mentally. I'm actually doing some writing! It's great!!!

Note that this very version is going to be very different from the original. I'm just so excited that I just had to post it now.

Finally! It's been so long since I put anything out! This is a nice feeling.

I'm actually getting some writing done. It's going really well. I hpe it lasts long enough for me to finish the chapter.

More writing has been completed. How wonderful.

Ran out of energy writing. However, I’ve only just made it into my first bullet point for the chapter. That’s almost 1000 words by itself. I have ten bullet points I want to hit before moving on to the next chapter. Each bullet point in a sentence that tells me what I’m going to do next. It’s actually super useful. This may be a bit depending on energy, motivation, and an agreeable internet.

So this morning when I got up I found that my internet was back to half functionality. I wasn't really surprised, so I went out to get something to drink at Rite Aid. When I got back however, I found that my internet showed no internet access. Which was frustrating because I had the next chapter of I Am Become Death all planned out.

Now I have to either wait and see if anything changes or have us reset the modem correctly this time.

Typing on the little keyboard was a tad frustrating but I got a bit of the next chapter of The Elder Souls worked on.

Now my brain is full of I Am Become Death and I need to work on that before I lose it.

Now to rework A Strange Family. It’s actually going to be very different. I know I can do better.

Edit: And my A Strange Family muse is gone. Moving on to something else.

Tonight was a little busy, but nice. The guy who was supposed to help me last week, helped me this week.. It was great to have him run things for me, but he didn’t stop talking. By the end of the night I was down to grunts. Though I did clock out before 10.

So I was thinking about I Am Become Death, and how much stuff I wanted to do in the past. Then I realised something. I don’t necessarily have to write all of it before the timeskip. I can have flashbacks to key moments while in the present. Which means I may just have to do a few chapters before the timeskip.

What does everyone think? Should I skip ahead and leak past details in flashbacks or conversation? Is that a cheap tactic? Because I do want to get to some of the present day stuff.

I did a thing.

Gotta clean the upstairs, do the cat’s kitty litter, and I have work this evening. However right now I just want to write.

Was very nice. I got a bit done on the next chapter for Of Bones and Balloons, but not as much as I wanted because I got side-tracked by picking up my paycheck. So I also picked up Dark Souls 2 (Special Edition with the soundtrack on CD), Batman Arkham City, Overlord, and Overlord 2 all for about $20. I actually haven’t played 3 out of those games, can you guess which? I didn’t have enough energy to write when I got back so I ended up playing some WoW. Race changed my Human warlock to a Gnome

I’m rereading I Am Become Death. just so I can remember what I wrote and what I may need to expand on. I haven’t been doing any editing, maybe a just a word or two here and there. However I did change the music at the end of the second chapter.
