As the title says, more New Lives content is done (let’s ignore that it took me a year) and is currently just waiting for an artist I know to finish some cover art for me. Additionally, I am working on another chapter of Pegasi Traditions, which I intend to have out by the 20th

Hey, it’s been a while, and I just wanted you to know I’m not dead. Suffering from severe motivation issues, (not just with fics either,) but still alive. New Lives is coming slow, but is still happening. Also, I have a new fic that I was writing with a friend that I will be releasing as soon as it is edited.

So, for the follow up to New Lives other ending, I was planning to post it as its own fic. I was debating on some different titles, and wanted some feedback on them, or alternatively, if you guys have any suggestions I'd love to hear them. Anyway, the ideas I had are as follows.
-The CMC's Old Lives
-Rebuilding What Was Broken
-Returning Home
-Holy Sweet Celestia, This is Going to Take Some Therapy

(The last one is not seriously being considered.)

So, after Celestia only knows how long, I have returned to the New Lives to deliver the promised sequel to the less blatantly horrible ending. It will probably take a couple of weeks, and there are a couple of other projects I have been working on that I will release first, but I thought I'd toss out an update seeing as I haven't posted in nearly half a year.

Ok, so I failed miserably on that schedule apparently. That said, the new chapter is finished. I'm going to let it sit for the night so I can double check everything in the morning. It should be up by noon tomorrow.

Ugh, sorry this one has taken so long. I have had ridiculous writer's block lately.

So the first follow up chapter is finally done. Sorry that took two months, college got up to me.

My current batches of classes are almost over, thank the lord. I've been writing when I get the chance but it's been slow. Especially since these two chapters are going to come out at once. I'm two thirds done with one and about halfway with the other, so now that I have time it shouldn't take long. Sorry for the long gap between chapters lately.

Ok, so the first chapter of a new fic I wrote is currently awaiting approval. Much like with The Cutie Mark Crusaders' New Lives, this is a first for me. In this case, its the first dark adventure story I've done. You'll have to let me know what you think.

Classes are going to ease up after today. It's looking like I will get the kind of free time I need to write again. I'm really glad for this, I hate not making progress, and there are so many projects that I want to do. In the meantime, to help keep me engaged, I'm going to be commissioning some artwork for The Cutie Mark Crusaders' New Lives from a few artists. I'll let you know when the art is done in case any of you are interested in seeing it.

Sorry I haven't updated this week. Despite it being Spring break for me, I haven't had as many opportunities to write as I would like. With a paper due next week and a con this weekend, it may be another week before I post anything. It's not helped by the fact that my writing time is divided into two projects, the first epilogue chapter to The CMCs' New Lives and a new project. Thank you for your patience, hopefully I get the chance to post something soon.

I don't think I need to say that the first ending received some backlash. What I want to know is how much of that was general distaste for ending on a bad note, and how much was poor execution on my end. I can't help if you wanted the series to end with the girls being rescued, but I want to know if I could have handled that ending better.

So an aritist I've been talking with called Skyflys just uploaded the first page to a comic called Foals Market, that was inspired by The Cutie Mark Crusaders' New Lives. So, just a quick little update on what's going on for those interested. I just finished up midterms at my university, which means that I haven't been writing very much. However, with them over, I can truly sit down and work on the final chapter. Would any of you be interested in reading a spinoff of one of the endings of this story? It would be (mostly) clop free, and would center around the aftermath of themis series.

This is it. The next chapter is the primary ending. I have it all planned out, and have started on it. However, I find myself curious about how people will react. So, my question is how do you want to see this all end? How disappointed would you be if it doesn't end the way you like?

I have written an almost unreasonable amount of filly rape these last two months, and I was wondering who you enjoyed seeing it happen to the most. Assuming of course that you are one of my readers who is, at least partly, here for that.
P.S.- Let me know if I'm spamming you with too many blog posts. I don't know how many is normal, I just like interacting with my readers. I can slow down if it's getting annoying.

I have another question to pitch you guys. So, I have been trying to keep my chapters at around the 3-4k mark in word count because that's usually what I like to read. How do you feel about this length? Is it too short, too long, or do you like it this way?

Slowly reaching the endgame. Only two chapters left, (and an alternate ending I suppose.) My question for you all this time is, are you here for the plot or the clop? What about the plot/clop are you enjoying most. The comments skew both ways, and I'm interested in seeing this question explored in detail. As always, I'm interested in improving my writing. The best thing for that is detailed feedback, so I'd love to hear from you.

This is something that I've been thinking about for a while, and I was hoping one of you might offer your opinions on this. I didn't want to give it a tragedy tag at first because I didn't want anyone to think that the crusaders might die in the end. However, I'm beginning to feel that leaving that tag off is misrepresenting the content. What do you think? Is the sad tag good enough, or should I add on the tragedy tag as well?
