One year ago today, I published Long Live Sonata Dusk, a story whose climax involved a bad accident on a parkway. A few days later, RainbowBob was in an accident on a freeway.

And last week, a year minus eleven days after the story ran, on a road branching off from the parkway that inspired the road in said story, I got rear-ended.

About two days ago, RainbowBob was in a bad traffic accident.

His leg is broken, as are several bones in his right arm. He's in constant pain, despite medication.
